Hardin County, Ohio

The original Lincoln Highway alignment from 1913 - 1919 left Upper Sandusky in Wyandot County on today's state route 53 and entered Hardin County on that same route.  An old road remnant is found at the eastern county line and is now marked as "TH 57X" near today's SR 57.

Follow SR 57 through Forest, westward toward Patterson.  The Lincoln Highway then followed State Route 81 westward through Dunkirk and Dola to Ada.

In Ada, follow State Route 235 South to State Route 309.  Follow SR 309 west to Bellefontaine Street, and into Lima.
