Forest, Ohio
Forest (on the highway from 1913 - 1919) Population 1,400.
Forest was founded in 1855 as a rail stop, and was named for the forest located there within a large area of tall grass prairie. Having several small industries and a well known furniture store, it also boasts a well-appointed community park, Gormley Park. A converted rail freight depot also serves as a branch library and meeting room for the town.
