“Rediscover our automotive past by traveling the Lincoln Highway, America’s first transcontinental road, built in 1913 to encourage good roads for all. Travel through small charming towns and see early relics of the road that your grandparents knew!”

Mifflin, Ohio

Mifflin pop: 300 (On the Highway since 1928)

From Mansfield the old highway, now designated S.R. 430, passes by the Oak Park Tavern, a local steakhouse which was once a Lincoln Highway filling station, one stop and campground. West of Mifflin is Charles Mill Dam State Park. Enjoy camping, boating, and great fishing.

In Mifflin now on Route 30-A, near the S.R. 603 and Ohio St. intersection is a concrete LH post still in its original location. Newly restored is the town jail, located on the north side of the road across from the Mifflin Inn.

If traveling the Lincoln Highway west, follow state route 430 into Mansfield.
